Hey internet friend, welcome back to this weekly update post. I've been joking about changing the name of this to the "Fortnitely update" since I seem to only be doing updates every two weeks. It feels like closer to two months now that I've been posting every other week, but IDK. Anyway, let's dive in but note it's gonna be short again this week.
I've still been thinking about Hyperreality and the next book I am planning on reading is Simulacra and Simulation by the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard. As I've mentioned, my intention is to write a longer blog post about it, and I want to really dive deep. So expect that at some point in the future.
Otherwise, it's just been a bunch of grinding in RuneScape 3 to get ready for the upcoming release of Necromancy. I've managed to get my prayer to 99 and have completed most of the required quests - with the goal of finishing them all ahead of the final release. I've also been using this golden cape buff to do a bunch of gathering, got my mining and woodcutting to 99, and managed to make enough money from Big Game Hunter to buy a Grace Of The Elves necklace and the Luck Of the Dwarves ring. Overall I am pleased with the progress and still have over 30 million gp in the bank.
